Aim

The main aim of the T-SKIN project is to design and develop a system, allowing to investigate THz reflection spectrum and detect tumorous lesion on the skin. Multipurpose modules with diffractive structures will allow to develop compact device, working in reflective configuration. Eventually it will allow to examine patients in real-time without cryogenic cooling. The device will consist of the set of diffractive structures, that will work together to properly illuminate sample, as well as effectively register reflected signal. Modules, developed in the T-SKIN project, will allow to image human skin with better quality in order to detect tumor with safe for humans terahertz radiation.

Innovation in the T-SKIN project consists in application of advanced diffractive structures, which may be used in commercial solutions and will work with sources and detectors of THz radiation available on the market. Enormous simulation capabilities and experience in designing diffractive elements allow us to offer personalized solutions, dedicated to work with specific source and detector and thus effectively commercialize our product.
